Alex Football
As promised...pics of Alex in his uniform. He LOVED tackle this year and is already talking about next year. We are so proud of him and it was a blast going to his games. Go Pats!!

Cox wedding
The fam trekked down to Redding to participate in Bryan's wedding. JJ was the best man and looked so handsome in his tux. We all had a great time seeing old friends and hanging out with the Redding clan. It was great to see our friend get married (he made it under 30!) and are very happy for him and his new bride Melissa.
Drew had a little freedom at the reception which her obviously enjoyed!
Cheer pals
Allison cheers for Emerald All Star competitive cheer club. They are gearing up for their competion schedule. This is a few of the "minis" waiting to march in a parade this past summer. They had a lot of fun and even did some stunts along with their cheers and dance moves. I didn't get to see them do the stunts when they passed by but Alli tells me that they were cool.
Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo was code for passion party and the Halsey's. My family and coworkers crowded around our guest speaker and the giggles ensued. No pictures of the merchandise of course!
Tia (cousin) is rocking out on Guitar Hero.

Rhonda (RN pal) wowed us with her karaoke skills on American Idol.

My Favorite part was watching my mother and aunt's mouths drop open repeatedly with awe mingled with horror as the merchandise was displayed. (Oh I guess there is one phallic that made it into the photo.)
Completely inappropriately Cassie attended the party...Maybe she can use the tidbits on her honeymoon in March.
More work friends in the back quietly planning on what they would buy.

A Test of a Marriage
When JJ got home from Korea we decided that the kids NEEDED a swing set. So we shopped around and actually found one on sale and bought one. Little did we know that our marriage would be tested in ways we never imagined! We survived putting the beast together and are still married 6 months later!
Drew watched from his toddler prison.
The finished product. Isn't it beautiful!
JJ did most of the high stuff. Once we figured out this first chunk the rest wasn't too bad.
Yes...these are left over parts.
A few of the last planks waiting to be put together.
Sexy husband clearing the way for the playset. Love the coveralls!
Drew's 2nd Birthday
Allison turns 8 July 26
Allison had a pool party for birthday number 8. It is a little difficult to get kids to come to a birthday in the middle of summer activities but luckily our sizable family rounded out the guest list.
Here are the munchkins fighting over Candy! There were no black eyes or bloody lips.

Water Fun! Had to drag them out of the pool for cake and ice cream.

Batter Batter Swing!
JJ was on grill duty but never made into a pic. Oops
Big number 8 this year. Alli is looking forward to the big dunk soon.
